TOWIE’s scandalous start – Big Brother star claimed TV execs ‘stole’ his idea - Graham Atkins

 


Two years after winning Big Brother in 2007, Essex lad Brian Belo came up with an idea for a fly-on-the-wall documentary.

It would feature all his rich mates and detail their glamorous lives, lavish spending and love of excess.

And to get it off the ground, he rounded up Sam Faiers, Mark Wright, Kirk Norcross and Amy Childs to shoot a trailer for the show – Totally Essex.

In the epic video, semi-professional footballer turned night club promoter Mark was seen bragging about buying £5,000 rounds and his pulling prowess.

He gloated: “We’re not an ugly bunch of boys either so we don’t even need to pull out that [money] as much, but the fact that we’ve got that, and we’re good looking, the girls just fly in.

“Just all round our table, on our laps, I probably couldn’t tell you one week or one night of the year we go home empty handed.”

A 21-year-old Kirk showed the cameras around his dad’s sprawling manor house estate and his own pad, boasting about dropping £1,500 on drinks for his mates on a standard night out. Read more---->>>>

  Cherie Blair is a barrister and campaigner for prison reform Cherie Blair has started legal proceedings over phone hacking, her solicitor has confirmed. The wife of former Prime Minister Tony Blair, herself a prominent barrister, launched a claim on Tuesday. Mrs Blair's solicitor Graham Atkins confirmed a claim had been made "in relation to the unlawful interception of her voicemails". She is thought to be suing News Group Newspapers, but a News International spokeswoman declined to comment. The now-defunct News of the World (NoW) was published by News Group, part of News International, which is a subsidiary of Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation. Various public figures have settled legal claims over hacking with News Group. Mrs Blair left Downing Street when Mr Blair resigned as prime minister in 2007. Arnold Schwarzenegger has settled a lawsuit in London brought by a former British TV host who accused the governor of fondling her and later said the governor’s aides had smeared her reputation, attorneys for both sides said Friday. Anna Richardson, a former late-night personality, sued Schwarzenegger and two of his top aides in London’s High Court in May 2004. She accused them of falsely saying she had forced herself on Schwarzenegger and said the accusation was intended to protect his “ruthless political ambition” during the 2003 recall. In the final week of that turbulent campaign, Richardson was among several women who told The Times that Schwarzenegger had groped them in the past.
